focus on innovation, quality and community

Harlow Leisurezone brings the opportunity for the people of Harlow and beyond to have fun, re-energise, improve health and fitness, learn new skills, relax, and unwind, all under one roof.

This state of the art leisure centre gives the town its first ever combined wet and dry sporting and leisure facility on one site.

The beautiful swimming pool is a generous size, being 25m long and 8 lanes wide, with seating for 300 spectators and a learner pool.

The sports arena is built to national club standard for badminton, basketball and trampolining and features a sprung, slip resistant floor. It is also capable of comfortably hosting major sporting and leisure events.

Other facilities include a state-of-the art gym, three fitness studios, four squash courts, health spa, daycare nursery, therapy suite, baby sensory and cafés.

Leisurezone was also used as training facility for elite athletes in the run up to the London 2012 Olympics.

Harlow Leisurezone is operated by Harlow & District Sports Trust; an independent and registered charitable Trust under the direction of volunteer Trustees. The Trust’s objective has been to provide exceptional sport and leisure for the people of Harlow and District.

The Trust has always been ready to innovate, adapt and expand. This adaptability and forethought was especially crucial in the planning and implementation of the Gateway Project, in which Harlow Leisurezone was a fundamental element.

The Gateway Project has supported the regeneration of sports, leisure and housing across Harlow.
