how to safely use our centre once we reopen

Following the recent Government announcement that leisure facilities can reopen from the 25th July, we want to let you know we have been working hard to make sure that everything is in place for welcoming you back. We can't wait to see you! Its vital to us that all our customers have a safe and enjoyable experience at Harlow Leisurezone, so as well as some improvements to our services, we have implemented measures to keep you safe, which is important you read before your visit: 


  • Online booking system for Vertigo Climbing Wall
  • Online booking system for Kidzz Kingdom Softplay
  • We have a totally refurbished the men's premier change shower area
  • Sanded and revarnished the main sports hall - its looking like new :-)
  • Plus..an on demand system that will allow you to stream workouts to home

  • As you would expect there are changes to ensure your return to the centre is made safe and enjoyable, with as little disruption as possible.

    Staff have been busy investigating and implementing practical social distancing measures to ensure staff and customers alike can confidently return to the centre when it re-opens.  Measures include:

  • Dual entry points and a variety of exit routes
  • Various one way systems 
  • Signage regarding social distancing rules and good hygiene practices
  • Use of sports hall as a temporary studio to create more space for classes for social distancing
  • Bather loads in both swimming pools have been reduced
  • Reduced capacity in Kidzz Kingdom Softplay and Urban Limitz Trampoline Park
  • Social distancing queuing system  
  • Encouraging card payments
  • Customer facing screens installed on Reception and Sales areas
  • Extra hand wash/sanitisers have been added around the centre 
  • Alternate cardio machines in gym to be out of use to enable social distancing (whilst the 2 metre guidance is in operation) 
  • Spray available for customers to wipe down machines or touch points
