Q: Is the centre open?
A: Harlow Leisurezone, in accordance with the Governments directive and National lockdown is currently closed.
Q: What will be on offer when the centre reopens?
A: It is our intention to provide our normal programme when reopening, albeit subject to any further government restrictions. Further information will be available nearer the time on our website.
Q: Will I receive information via email if I’m a Direct Debit Gym member?
A: Yes, some information is sent out, in line with your membership category, if you have supplied an up-to-date email address, please look out for communications from us, you may need to check your junk email box.
Q: When will the centre start taking advance bookings?
A: Once Leisurezone has a confirmed date from the Government to reopen, bookings will be made available.
Q: Is the centre open now to deal with queries?
A: Please be advised that staff have been furloughed and therefore regrettably we are unable to deal with any queries, until we reopen.
Q: What is happening about my membership payment?
A: If you are a Direct Debit silver or gold customer or have paid upfront to be either a gold, silver or bronze customer then please be aware that any payments taken for days when the centre is closed will be adjusted accordingly in due course. You will not be charged for the period we are closed. Please do not cancel your Direct Debit as charges may be added. Please do not contact us, unless you believe there to be an error as regrettably on this occasion, we do not have the resources to respond to individual emails.
Q: When will my direct debit restart?
A: Once Leisurezone has a confirmed date from the Government to reopen Direct Debits will be adjusted as appropriate and recommence on your existing payment date.
Q: I have cancelled my Direct Debit directly with my bank, is this ok?
A: No, cancelling with the bank does not inform us, therefore our collecting agency (Debit Finance Collections) will call for your money and you will incur charges. Please re-instate your Direct Debit and be assured it will not be called for until the centre re-opens.
Q: What will happen to the booking that I have paid for?
A: If you have booked and paid for an activity during the closure period then you will need to contact the centre once we reopen to organise an alternative date.
Q: I’ve paid for my child to do a lesson, sports course, class that has been cancelled?
A: If your child has been booked onto a lesson or sports course, classes will be added on at the end of the course/session as appropriate. Please do not cancel your Direct Debit or charges may be added.
Q: I am a up-front cash payer for Swimming lessons, What will happen to lessons paid for during the lockdown?
A: The lessons that are cancelled during the lock down will be added to the end of the existing course, for you to attend in line with the payments you have made.
Q: Can I get a refund for lessons not used during the shutdown?
A: Refunds are not possible as the course will be extended to cover any loss weeks.
